One of the fun things about having a novel out is the book events.
On January 26, at 7 PM, I will be at the Cary Public Library at
310 South Academy Street talking about Rain Song. Books will be for sale there for $13.99. Be sure to mark your calendars, and come on out! I look forward to this event.

I wanted to ask you when your next book is coming out - and after finding this site, I will be the first in line May 1, 2009! After 10 years of bearing and raising kids (and a husband), I very recently rediscovered book time by consuming every single Jodi Picoult book. I've been starved for a "me time" book until I happened upon "Rain Song" in my local library. The cover picture attracted me with its simplicity (like Picoult), and the backcover synopsis intrigued me. I have to go buy this book and add it to my collection. I have not read an entire book within 24 hours since I've had children - thank you for keeping my emotional, mental and spiritual attention. I was almost ready to give up on you if Nicole passed on the lifetime opportunity of her adventure to Japan. I am very sorry about your loss of Daniel, but trust that his Spirit continues to live and breathe through your work. Thank you. Cathy Austill
